My name is Melissa Pont and I live in the wonderful city of Austin, Texas. I am a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Advertising and a passion for social media.
In March of 2012, I stumbled upon a wonderful store called Lomography. It was there that Andrew (my boyfriend) and I decided that we were going to become “lomographers”. We each purchased analog cameras and film, and so the saga began.
This blog is a documentation of my journey from a newbie to analog photography to, hopefully one day, a well-versed and talented lomographer. I will attempt double exposures, long exposures, nighttime flash photography, and more. I’ve never had a true “hobby” before, so I’m excited to finally pursue a personal dream.
